Information from Integrated Services like Google.

You can sign in to WhenAvailable using integrated services such as Google through Firebase. These services allow the third party to authenticate your identity and provide you the options to share certain personal information with us such as your name, email address and sometime profile image. In addition you can authorize WhenAvailable to access your Google contacts and Google calendar events which can enhance your experience on the site.

WhenAvailable’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google , including the Limited Use requirements.

Calendar integration

  • Read calendar: If you authorize WhenAvailable to read the events in your Google Calendar it can make it easier for you to view your availability as you suggest dates for your event on the site.
  • Write calendar: If you authorize WhenAvailable to add and remove events from your calendar it can add the suggested date/time options as "hold" to your calendar so you don’t double book a time slot. You can also remove all the "hold" events that WhenAvailable added from your calendar. WhenAvailable will automatically remove the "hold" events when you pick the final date/time option for your event.

WhenAvailable does not store your Google calendar data or share with a third party.

Contacts integration

If you authorize WhenAvailable to access your Google contacts you can quickly access their email addresses to send invitations or notifications through WhenAvailable. WhenAvailable does not store your contacts other than the contacts in guest groups you specifically opt to store. You can optionally create and store guest groups on WhenAvailable to quickly select the same group of people for planning another event. WhenAvailable stores the contacts you enter for an event for the sole purpose of sending invitations and notifications related to the event.
